Who needs a dose of spring after our recent winter weather?  We have just
the ticket….plan now to join us in the Northeast Georgia Mountains for the Winegrowers Association of Georgia’s annual Spring Wine Highway Event, March 21-22, 2015 and March
28-29, 2015. This is the Winegrowers Association’s biggest event ever
with 18 member wineries offering the best of the vine throughout our beautiful area of the Blue
Ridge Mountains. It is so big this year that it has been spread out over two weekends to give you plenty of time to enjoy your wine tasting experience. You’ll also enjoy music and special
events planned at many of the participating wineries, as well as a chance to sample
some of Georgia’s best farm-to-table fare.
For the
fee of $40 per person that can be paid at any participating winery, you will receive a souvenir wine glass and
passport that you present to each of the participating wineries you visit. Your admission allows you to enjoy the
experience at a leisurely pace and can be used on both weekends. For a map of this year’s Spring Wine Highway
Event that will make your planning easier and to check out all the participating wineries visit the Winegrowers Association of Georgia’s website.  Be sure
to also check the 2015 Spring Wine Highway Facebook page for more details as they
become available.
This year some of the closest wineries to Lucille’s that are participating include Habersham Winery, Yonah Mountain Vineyards, Serenity Cellars, Sautee Nacoochee Vineyards, The Cottage Vineyard and Winery, and Cavender Creek Vineyards and Winery. We are very excited that one of Georgia’s newest wine tasting rooms at CeNita Vineyards and Winery, just down the road from Lucille’s, will also be participating!
Call us at Lucille’s Mountain Top Inn & Spa now at 706-878-5055 to book your lodging during this much
anticipated event. Be sure to ask about
our great spa packages and let us help you unwind as spring comes to the
beautiful mountains of Northeast Georgia.
