It just doesn’t get much better than this: fabulous toe-tapping bluegrass music with a side of fluffy, warm biscuits, in the beautiful surroundings of the north Georgia mountains. Mark your calendars, because the 2nd Annual Blue Ribbon Biscuit and Bluegrass Festival is back in Sautee Nacoochee, GA on Saturday, March 26, 2016.
If you’re a fan of bluegrass and biscuits—and frankly we don’t know anyone who isn’t!—this is a day you won’t want to miss. Starting at 11:00 in the morning, you can savor delicious homemade biscuits made by Sweetwater Coffeehouse and Cimmi’s Café, while you listen to the sounds of bluegrass music performed by a lineup of top talent, including the nationally-acclaimed Jeanette Williams Band, North Georgia’s Shoal Creek, Good in the Kitchen, and the young but super-talented Sweet Tea & the Bluegrass Boys.
To add to the fun, the day will also feature a scavenger hunt, Easter egg hunt, a milk-jam-honey bar, plus a pickle and pie contest and a cash raffle. So grab your lawn chairs and plan to settle in for a day of good times and great tunes.
