If you ever wanted to be like Lucy and stomp grapes with your feet, here’s your chance! The Yonah Mountain Vineyards Crush Fest, September 2, 2017, is a fun-filled day celebrating the wine harvest with live music, wine tasting—and, yes, grape crushing.
Crush Fest began in 2010 and is now an anticipated yearly event attracting upwards of 5,000 visitors from all over the Southeast. Throughout the day you can enjoy sampling wines, including a few of the winery’s new releases. More than 10 regional and national artists will be providing live music. For the wine stomping—a signature event of the fest— accordion and guitar music will be provided by owners Bob and Jane Miller.
Full admission includes entry to all festivities as well as a four 3-ounce wine tastings and a souvenir wine glass. General admission does not include wine tasting or glass.
