North Georgia Christmas Events
- Christmas in the Mountains Parade — December 7, 2019, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Cleveland Courthouse Square. This lighted parade kicks off the holiday season and the event includes food, music, a holiday market, Christmas tree lighting and more.
- Victorian Christmas — First three Fridays and Saturdays in December at Hardman Farms State Park. History comes to life with docents dressed in Victorian attire, horse-drawn wagon rides, and warm apple cider and hot chocolate.
- Sautee Christmas Shop & Stroll — December 7, 2019, 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the Village of Sautee. Take a walk through Sautee and do some shopping, see some holiday decor, and visit with Santa.
- Blackhawk Holiday Celebration — December 14, 2019, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Blackhawk Trophy Flyfishing. Enjoy cocktails, appetizers, and live music from the region’s best chefs and musicians.
- A Downtown Clarkesville Christmas — December 14, 2019, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Roast marshmallows, listen to carollers, and enjoy a beautiful tree lighting.
- Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre — December 13 & 14, 6:30 p.m. at the Sautee Nacoochee Cultural Center. Join actors to help save Christmas in this interactive show.
- Christkindlmarkt — November 30 – December 1 & December 7 – 8, 2019 in Helen. Stop by this market for unique merchandise, gourmet candies and other treats, music, and entertainment.
- Ralph Rodeenbery & Donna Hopkins — December 21, 2019, 8 p.m. – 11 p.m. in Clarkesville. Enjoy a special holiday show with these accomplished musicians at the Grant Street Music Room.
Ring in the New Year With Us
- New Year’s Eve Celebration — December 31, 2019, 8 p.m. – midnight in Helen. Enjoy this festive tradition with music, dancing, and hors d’oeuvers, leading up to a champagne toast and the dropping of the edelweiss at midnight!
- Steve Bryson Band New Year’s Eve — December 31, 8 p.m. – January 1, 12:30 a.m. in Clarkesville. Enjoy this celebrated musician as he rings in the New Year at the Grant Street Music Room.
- Bootlegger’s Ball — December 31, 2019, 5 p.m. at Unicoi State Park. Eat a delicious dinner, indulge in a champagne toast, and dance the night away at this popular event.
