From the parade in downtown Helen to the Victorian Christmas at Hardman Farm, there are plenty of ways to celebrate the season this year. • Sip ‘n Shop Christmas Market
Date: December 14th from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Location: 7584 Bill Wilson Road, Alto GA
Sip mulled wine or hot cocoa while shopping small at Sweet Acre Farms Winery where handmade items compete for a spot under your tree.
• Victorian Christmas at Hardman Farm
Date: Every Friday and Saturday until Christmas from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Location: Hardman Farm, 143 Highway 17
Every day at Hardman Farm Historic Site feels like stepping back in time, but the homestead comes alive during the holidays with 19th century reenactments and décor. Tickets are $20 and online pre-registration is required.
• Dahlonega Christmas Parade
Date: December 14th at 12:00 p.m.
Location: Dahlonega Historic Square District
Home to a Hallmark Christmas movie, Dahlonega has steadily built a reputation for setting the holiday scene with its soft white lights draping around the square and old-fashioned Christmas celebration taking place every weekend in December. Join the community for their annual Christmas parade on the square. If you have time to linger, stay for a horse-drawn carriage ride later that evening or enjoy Cajun cuisine at Bourbon Street Grill.
• Helen Annual Christmas Parade
Date: December 14th at 6:00 p.m.
Location: Downtown Helen
Only 5 miles away from the inn, Helen is a charming downtown area with Old World flair. Experience the small town feeling as local businesses come together to throw candy, spread Christmas cheer, and, of course, welcome Santa Claus at the end of the procession. While you’re there, be sure to munch on a pretzel or sip on beer from a frosted mug as you parade under the lights and wander into cute shops.
• Tallulah Adventures Christmas Celebration
Date: December 14th and 15th

Located across the highway from Tallulah Gorge, Tallulah Adventures is an outdoor store and café/bar that hosts a weekend of merriment every December. Both days feature an Artisan Market and an opportunity to create holiday crafts, but you can also experience live music and a special showing of The Christmas Carol movie on Saturday afternoon. Sunday hosts a unique treat: rock climbing with the Grinch from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
• Christmas Village of Lights
Date: December 13th and 14th, December 20th and 21st from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Enjoy a free exterior Christmas light display in Tiger, GA, and step inside to see a charming miniature Christmas village.
• Clarksville Candlelight Christmas Walk
Date: December 23rd at 6:00 p.m.
Location: Burn Sutton House (Norton Realty), Downtown Clarksville
This free event includes complimentary hot chocolate and a LED candle as you join groups of carolers across downtown Clarksville. The tour stops at each local church, ending at the square where there will be a reading of the Christmas story.
